After seeing his artwork on the walls of a comedy club, Kevin was approached by the biggest CG animation company in Canada at the time, offering to train him to recreate his illustrations in 3D. While it became clear that Kevin wasn’t particularly technically inclined, he discovered that his interests in drawing and performance made him a pretty good 3D character animator.
Kevin later relocated to Los Angeles and worked on such blockbuster films as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Star Trek: Insurrection, and Stuart Little as well as such video game titles as Star Wars, Gears of War, and Medal of Honor.
After briefly spearheading the 3D wing at Titmouse Animation, Kevin moved back to Canada and has been a senior animator on the Barbie animated series for Netflix.
In his downtime, Kevin has written and produced a feature-length film and a TV pilot, written and performed with his own comedy troupe, draws his own indie comics, continues to produce keyframe, motion capture, and AI animated shorts – all in all noticing a peculiar inclination to tell peculiar stories.
